Columbus, the surprising fifteenth largest city in the United States, hosts this fitness event the first weekend in March every year.  2008 was the 20th anniversary.

The Arnold Classic cannot be contained to just one building.  The Nationwide Arena, home the National Hockey League’s Blue Jackets, hosts The Arnold Classic Men’s and Women’s Bodybuilding competitions, Women’s Figure and Women’s Fitness competitions.  The Nationwide Arena also hosts many martial arts competitions, including karate, San Shou, submission wrestling, boxing, kickboxing and more.

The Columbus Convention Center holds the fitness expo and just about everything else. Where else can you watch a boxing match one minute, a bench press competition the next and gymnastics the next?  Go to The Arnold.  Compete in a competition or just go to watch all the fitness freaks.  You also get to meet other celebrities, such as Lou Ferrigno, Wrestlers, fighters and more.  It is a great time.
